01/25/2012: "Why I love Shooting Healthcare and Pharmaceutical"

This is a very personal post but as an artist I think our personal experiences and passions are what truly feed our creativity. I know their is a big national debate about healthcare, insurance, etc. but I have seen firsthand what our modern healthcare system can do for people who need it and I have had great experiences with everyone along our journey. I feel like when I work for any company in the healthcare industry I become a small part of it and I like that. Last year my son had 8 surgeries. I photographed this during his 7th surgery. They are always emotional experiences. My son, Bjorn, is the bravest person I know. Take a look at all the photos and take some time to remember what you are thankful for in life.
