Back to the future

Had a lot of fun today playing with an old customized 4x5 film camera I put together several years ago. I do not know exactly what it is but something is still very magical about working with film.

I have another custom 4x5 camera in the works and will be doing more personal work with it.

I can think of nothing better for my business and career than feeding my soul with personal work. It is funny how that happens. At least for me the more I feed my soul the happier I am and the more I play/explore the better business goes. I think the secret is not doing it for your career or business but truly doing it for yourself. I think all our personal and professional lives are intermixed but believe it is even more true for creatives. Of course I tend to define creatives very broadly. My wife is a scientist and what she does and how she does it is very creative. Anyway, love to hear your thoughts on it.

Cheers,

Jason

Just got my May PDN and they wrote an article about our Eco-Friendly photo Studio. Glad to chat about it if anyone is interested in making changes for their studio or Business. Thanks to PDN and David Walker for writing the article.
