Iceland DSLR filmmaking and time-lapse Workshop

Jason Lindsey will be joining Enrique Pacheco to lead this workshop July 31 - August 6, 2011.

This workshop will explore the basics of filmmaking and time-lapse using DSLR cameras to make a short film. This is a 7 day, hands-on workshop for those who learn by doing and experimenting. The film we make will be based on local legends and stories told by Jon Þórðarson, a local fishing guide, set in and around fishing village of Bildudalur. We will explore moss covered lava fields, the fjords by boat and hear stories of the vikings while exploring historic ruins. We will incorporate time-lapse photography into our film, and cover the basics of DSLR shooting, audio recording and storytelling with images. The workshop size will be kept at less than 8 participants so we can focus on everyone's individual interests.
